Sleep Apnea Therapy
To serve our CPAP clients at Canadian Home Healthcare, we ensure that each client receives personal, comprehensive and continuous care.
Getting Started
This includes a CPAP assessment, beginning with a one-on-one educational session with one of our licensed healthcare professionals. They are trained to make the set-up process as painless and effective as possible. We have staff that can communicate in a variety of languages including Amharic, Bahasa (Indonesia /Malay), Cantonese, Filipino (Tagalog, Visayan), French, Hindi, Japanese, Mandarin, Portuguese, Spanish, Russian, and of course English.
For clients with special needs, we are also able to do In-Home Setups with a Health Care Professional. To learn more, get in touch with one of our company representatives.
Continuing Care
We also provide continuous courtesy medical and administrative follow-ups to all of our CPAP clients, allowing our medical & administrative staff to track the progress of treatment, educate clients about new products and services, and offer any assistance required.
Our CPAP service extends to personalized mask fittings to ensure compliance, a comfortable fit, prescribed pressure changes, CPAP equipment calibration, and extended maintenance and warranty service plans.
OHIP CPAP Coverage and Government Funding
With a valid prescription, a portion of CPAP machines and equipment are funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care – Assistive Devices Program. With private insurance coverage, patients can often get coverage for the rest, or a large percentage of any remainder, or upgraded equipment and supplies. Canadian Home Healthcare offers assistance in working with your insurance provider, and financial assistance in the purchase of CPAP Therapy. Every client has different circumstances, and working together with our staff, your family and your physician, we can work to ensure that every client gets the care they need. This is part of our commitment to affordable healthcare.
Prevention Through Education
Education is vital for successful sleep apnea treatment. By ensuring that each client is given the time with a Health Care Professional to fully understand how to properly use their mask, machine, and other equipment, we ensure that the best possible treatment is attained.
